Tips
Other cars
The level timing meter does not start until after you move, so if there are moving cars blocking your path you can wait until they have passed to start moving.
Some levels allow you to bypass the moving vehicles by driving aggressively as soon as the level loads.
Other vehicles drive as though you do not exist until they crash into you, so do not expect evasive maneuvers.
Vehicles drive in a regular & predictable pattern.
Speed
When you are driving straight or on wide parts of the level that are easy it makes sense to drive fast and be as aggressive as possible.
When driving in tighter areas or changing driving directions it makes sense to move slower.
Moving more slowly gives you greater precision control over your car and allows for tighter turns.
Slower driving also allows you to stop and adjust before you hit something.
Level frustration
If you find a particular level hard try to break it down into component parts or sections & move slowly when passing through parts you find tricky.
If you can beat a particular level in unlimited time but struggle to get a great star rating on it you can beat it slowly & play other levels, then come back to the level to try to earn a higher star rating later.
Desktop
Use the arrow keys to drive.
The up arrow key is the equivalent of gas or go forward (as the car is facing).
The down arrow key is the equivalent to brake or reverse (as the car is facing).
The left arrow key helps you turn left while moving forward (or turn right while moving in reverse).
The right arrow key helps you turn right while moving forward (or turn left while moving in reverse).
Touchscreen devices
Use the on screen controls to drive.
The turn left and right buttons are in the lower left corner of the screen.
The forward and backward buttons are in the lower right corner of the screen.
Controls & indicators
Across the top of the screen it shows your current level number, level play time, and has buttons to pause the game and control game sounds.
The parking space tells you which directions you should face and if you should park forward or in reverse.
When you complete levels your star rating is shown & the amount of time needed to beat or match to earn various star ratings.
The level select screen shows the star rating you earned on each level.
